The Greenbrier Valley Squares square dance club was founded about 1988 with Harry McCloggan and danced at the American Legion Hall in Lewisburg, WV before to moving to White Sulfur Springs about 1997. Prior to formation of the Greenbrier Valley Squares the group had danced with clubs of various names in both Lewisburg and White Sulfur Springs. Earlier club names were "Briers and Squires" and "Spa City Squares" and other callers were Dick Hyde, and Hilbert McCombs.

Beginner lessons usually start in September. If you are interested in learning modern Western Square Dancing send an e-note to Don Hill.

The Spring Fling held either in April or May each year is the clubs biggest dance of the year with a fun filled evening of squares and rounds toped off with loads of refreshments.

We welcome visitors and hope you will be dancing with us very soon. If you are not yet a dancer please come watch and see what its all about.
