The Convention theme for 2007 is "It's Hip to be Square !!!!".
This year we will be celebrating the 1960's when peace signs, tie-dyed shirts, VW buses, lava lamps and hippies were the craze.
During Friday Night's Dance there will be a Costume Contest.
Prizes will be awarded for the Most Authentic, the Silliest, and the Best Dressed 60's Couple.
Creativity is encouraged; however good taste is essential. Ensure your costumes are not offensive to your fellow dancers. Keep it tasteful. Rember this was a time of tie-dyed clothing and peace signs.
If you choose not to participate in the costume contest regular square dance attire is required.!
